The short version
Is WylthIQ investment advice?
No. It summarises public regulatory filings and computes well-known academic scores from them. It does not know your circumstances, recommends nothing, and may contain errors or stale data. Check the linked filings and speak to a licensed adviser before making financial decisions.
Where does WylthIQ get its data?
Company financials come from SEC EDGAR, the regulator's own filing archive, and are free to use. Prices and news come from market data providers under their free tiers, which are licensed for personal, non-commercial use and carry their own delays.
What does WylthIQ store about me?
Nothing at all unless you create an account. An account stores your email, your saved companies, your portfolio holdings, your notes and your trade journal — and, if you connect a brokerage account, the holdings and trades that account reports. There is no tracking and no advertising, and nothing about you is sold or shared.
Can WylthIQ trade or move money in my brokerage account?
No. Connecting a broker is optional and read-only: WylthIQ can read your holdings and trades, and cannot place orders, withdraw, deposit or transfer anything. You connect on SnapTrade's own page, so WylthIQ never receives your broker login, password or API key — or you can upload a statement file instead of connecting at all. You can disconnect at any time from your account page.
How do I delete my data?
Delete your account from the account page and everything tied to it goes with it: watchlist, portfolio, theses and journal entries. Disconnecting a broker from your account page deletes what WylthIQ stored from it. Anything kept only in your browser, such as your theme and recently viewed companies, is cleared by clearing site data.

Terms of use
What this service is
WylthIQ reads company financial statements from public regulatory sources and presents them in plain language, alongside scores drawn from published research. It also provides screening, comparison, portfolio, watchlist, journal, thesis, backtesting and educational tools, and an optional read-only connection to your own brokerage account. It is provided as-is for personal and educational use.
Accuracy is not guaranteed
Figures come from third-party sources and may be delayed, incomplete, mis-tagged at source, stale, or wrong. Companies restate results and providers have outages. Automated accounting mappings can also misclassify a figure. Stock pages expose source information so you can check important numbers against the original filing.
The scores are models, not predictions
The Piotroski F-Score, Altman Z-Score and Beneish M-Score are statistical models based on historical research. They describe patterns; they do not forecast outcomes. A high score is not a promise and a low one is not a verdict. Where a model does not validly apply, it is suppressed rather than presented as meaningful.
Prices and market data are not guaranteed real-time
Prices may be real-time, delayed, end-of-day or stale depending on the source and exchange. Each supported price view should identify its known freshness. A missing or stale-data notice means the displayed figure should not be treated as current. Never rely on WylthIQ for time-sensitive trading decisions.
Connecting a brokerage account
Connecting a broker is optional. You can connect through SnapTrade, a third-party service, on SnapTrade's own page, or upload a statement file downloaded from your broker. Either way the connection is read-only: WylthIQ can read your holdings and trade history, and cannot place, change or cancel orders or move money into, out of or between accounts. A connection that would allow trading is removed rather than used. Synced figures reflect your broker's last report, usually once a day, and may be delayed, incomplete or unable to show some holdings; holdings are valued with WylthIQ's own prices, not your broker's. Your broker's own statements are the authoritative record. When you connect through SnapTrade, you also agree to SnapTrade's End User Terms and Privacy Policy, which apply to that connection, and you remain responsible for complying with your broker's terms for sharing your account information. You can disconnect at any time from your account page.
AI-generated explanations
Some accounts may be offered grounded AI explanations. These explanations are generated from information available to WylthIQ and are provided for education and research only. AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate or misleading even when it includes source context. It is not financial advice and should not replace the underlying filing, source data or your own judgment. Do not enter passwords, payment-card details or other unnecessary sensitive information into AI prompts.
Backtests are hypothetical
Historical backtests are simulations, not records of actual investment returns. Results can depend on the selected universe, available historical data, corporate actions and implementation assumptions. Unless a backtest explicitly states otherwise, do not assume that it models taxes, commissions, bid/ask spreads, slippage or survivorship bias. Past simulated performance does not predict future results.
No warranty and no liability
The service is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operators of this site accept no liability for loss or damage arising from use of the service or from an error, omission, delay or interruption in data.
Acceptable use
Do not use this service unlawfully, attempt to disrupt it, scrape it in bulk, or redistribute upstream data commercially. Several providers impose their own restrictions, described below, which pass through to users of the service.
Changes
These terms may change as the service does. Continuing to use it after a change means accepting the revised terms. Material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page.

Where the data comes from
Each source carries its own terms, which apply to you as well as to this site.

Used under their applicable plans. Provider terms govern access, permitted use and redistribution.

Optional and disabled by default. Yahoo publishes terms governing automated access and use; enabled deployments must comply with those terms.
- SnapTradeRead-only connections to your brokerage account
Used only if you connect a broker. You connect on SnapTrade's own page, and SnapTrade's End User Terms and Privacy Policy apply to that connection.
Coverage is primarily US-listed companies plus Canadian ones that also list in the US. Companies listed only on other exchanges may show limited data or none — more about that here.
On this deployment: us and canadian from the free stack, worldwide from eodhd where that has nothing coverage, 544 companies scored. Price charts are active and news is active.

Privacy
You can use this without an account
Company pages, the screener, comparisons, charts, market views and educational content work signed out. An account is optional and enables account-scoped features such as saved companies, saved screens, the trade journal, thesis tracking, portfolio data, broker connections and research history.
What an account stores
Your email address, a bcrypt hash of your password — never the password itself — and a username if you choose one. Depending on which features you use, the service can also store saved companies and screens, journal entries, investment theses, portfolio and holding information, broker connection data, research activity and notification preferences. This account data is scoped to your account and is not sold to advertisers.
Portfolio, thesis and journal data
Information you enter into your portfolio, investment thesis or journal is user content. WylthIQ stores it so those features can work across sessions and devices. Treat it as research information, not as a regulated custody or brokerage record. WylthIQ does not execute trades or hold securities on your behalf, including in any account you connect.
Broker connections
If you connect a brokerage account, WylthIQ stores what that account reports: your holdings (the company, number of shares, average cost and currency), your trade history (dates, quantities, prices and commissions), the name of the institution, and account numbers shown only in shortened form. Trades from your broker are added to your journal, where they are your content like any other entry. When you connect through SnapTrade, WylthIQ never receives your broker login, password or API key; it keeps only an identifier SnapTrade issues for your connection, stored encrypted and never shown back. You sign in to your broker on your broker's own page where it offers one; where it does not, you enter your login on SnapTrade's page and SnapTrade, not WylthIQ, keeps it, encrypted, under its own privacy policy. WylthIQ tells SnapTrade only a random identifier for your WylthIQ account — not your name or email. A statement file you upload is read once and not kept — only the holdings and trades taken from it are. This data is used only to show you your own portfolio and journal, and is never sold or shared for advertising.
What stays in your browser
Signed out, some saved companies and recently viewed items may live in browser local storage and are not transmitted as account data. Clearing browser data can permanently remove those local items. Signing in can merge supported local saves into your account.
Email and notifications
Your address is used for requested account and service messages, such as password resets and enabled summaries or alerts. Marketing/newsletter messages require the applicable subscription or confirmation flow. Notification preferences can be changed where the relevant feature provides that control.
AI prompts and source material
If you use an AI explanation feature, the service may send the question and the relevant grounded research context to the configured AI provider to generate the answer. Do not submit unnecessary personal or confidential information. AI output should be treated as generated research assistance, not authoritative source data.
Deleting your data
Removing a saved company, screen or journal item deletes that item where the feature supports deletion. Disconnecting a broker deletes its stored identifier, holdings and trade history from WylthIQ, and a SnapTrade connection also asks SnapTrade to delete what it holds for you, apart from records SnapTrade is required by law to keep; journal trades added from that broker stay unless you choose to remove them when disconnecting, and a broker trade you delete from your journal is not added back. Account deletion and any associated data are subject to the deletion controls provided by the service; if a self-service control is unavailable, use the support/security contact specified by the deployment. Backup copies may persist for a limited operational period where required for recovery or security.
No tracking or advertising
There are no advertising trackers, no analytics profiling you across sites, and no user data is sold to advertisers.
Requests to third parties
Loading research data causes this service to request information from upstream providers. Those requests are made by the server where supported. Standard server logs may record requests for security and debugging; they should not contain passwords, session cookies or authorization headers.
Who else may process your data
Railway may host the application and Postgres database. Resend may deliver email. If AI explanations are enabled, the configured AI provider may process the prompt and supplied research context. Stripe may process payments if subscriptions are enabled. If you connect a broker through SnapTrade, SnapTrade processes that connection and the account data it relays on WylthIQ's behalf, under its Privacy Policy. Each provider's applicable terms and privacy policy govern its processing.
A note on these terms. They describe the intended behaviour of this service and have not been reviewed by a lawyer. If you deploy WylthIQ publicly, charge for it, or operate it somewhere with specific financial-promotion or privacy rules, have them reviewed before relying on them.
